An industry first – the development of the UK’s first Rooftop PV O&M Best Practice Guidelines.
Helios have been working together with Wise Energy, Ecovision Asset Management, PSH Operations, the MCS and the Solar Trade Association in the development of the UK’s first Rooftop O&M Best Practice Guidelines.
This important document will be used as the blueprint for all rooftop PV maintenance in the UK, with the completed maintenance being able to be centrally registered on a new portal, managed and operated by one of the UK’s most trusted renewable energy organisations that Helios engaged with in November 2019 to lend their support to this important process.
Helios, together with Wise Energy, Ecovision & PSH, have been instrumental in developing the maintenance checklist together with the frequency of the checks, much of which is based on BS7671 wiring regulations.
The first edition of the Rooftop PV O&M Best Practice Guidelines are due for publication at the Solar Quality 2020 event (formerly O&M and Asset Management conference) at Bird & Bird solicitors in November 2020.
